Disposing of waste tyres, especially the size of those used by your vehicles, is a headache.

It is now illegal to send tyres (shredded or whole) to landfills for disposal.

For many companies this means hiring a council disposal truck to collect these tyres for recycling. Unfortunately, these trucks are expensive, even more so for larger tyres which occupy the most space.

The carcass of a pneumatic tyre is made from bonded wire and nylon, which when recycled has to be separated. This creates a high cost and also uses up unecessary resources, making the disposal of these tyres very expensive.

With AirBoss the segments are made from a metal insert which is then moulded in to 100% rubber, eliminating all of the above problems because even if you do have a damaged segment, all that is required is a new insert of the rubber component. Furthermore, the damaged segment is recyclable and is not expensive to dispose of - another benefit of using AirBoss tyres!

If you damage the rubber on an AirBoss tyre, you are only replacing one damaged segment. However, if you damage the rubber on a normal tyre, you have to replace the whole tyre.
